The colour has a name, but what colour is it actually?

Product colours sometimes get names that sound pleasant without describing much. A shade can look warm in one photograph and almost grey in another, while the screen adds another variable. This becomes more frustrating when matching something already at home. What could online stores show to make colour choices easier? Daylight photos, several backgrounds or a plain description might help. Nobody can make every screen identical, but there may be a better approach than relying on a single heavily styled image.

A straightforward colour description could sit beside the creative name. What terms would give useful context without promising an exact screen match?
